On the morning of June 30, the Ceremony to Announce the Resolutions and Decisions of the Central and the province on the reorganization of the apparatus and administrative units of Phu Tho province was held. Attending and directing the ceremony was General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security.
At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Delegation Work Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee - announced the Resolutions and Decisions of the Central Committee on the establishment of the new Phu Tho province, the establishment of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, appointing the National Assembly Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province.
Resolution No. 202 dated June 12, 2025 of the National Assembly on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units: Arrange the entire natural area and population of Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho provinces into provinces called Phu Tho province.
Resolution No. 1676 dated June 16, 2026 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Phu Tho province in 2025: Arrange to establish 148 commune-level administrative units, including 133 communes and 15 wards.
Decision No. 309 dated June 18, 2025 of the Party Central Committee: Establish a Party Committee on the basis of merging the Party Committees of the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh.
Decision No. 2172 dated June 23, 2025 of the Party Central Committee appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee.
