According to information announced by FLC Group, FLC and Bamboo Airways have just had a meeting with the Korean Embassy in Vietnam to exchange cooperation orientations and expand connections between the business communities of the two countries.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Korean Embassy, with the participation of Mr. Choi Youngsam - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Vietnam, and representatives of the Embassy. On FLC Group's side, there was Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - founder, and representatives of the Board of Directors of FLC Group and Bamboo Airways.
The meeting takes place in the context of Vietnam-Korea economic cooperation continuing to maintain positive growth momentum. Korea is currently the largest foreign investor in Vietnam, with total accumulated investment capital exceeding 95 billion USD, spreading across many key areas of the economy. Korea is also one of the leading important international tourist markets, making significant contributions to the growth of tourism, aviation and services of Vietnam.
Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Choi Youngsam expressed his honor to welcome FLC Group as the first business delegation to visit and work with the Korean Embassy on the occasion of the New Year. The Ambassador highly appreciated the role and multi-sectoral development orientation of FLC Group, contributing to promoting the Vietnam-Korea strategic partnership to deepening through investment projects, business cooperation and economic-tourism exchanges.
He affirmed that the Korean Embassy will continue to accompany and play a bridge role between Korean businesses and the Vietnamese market in general and FLC in particular, especially in areas where the two sides have strengths and many potentials to complement such as tourism, resorts, real estate, aviation, and high-quality services.
FLC leaders said that South Korea is one of the important strategic partners in the long-term development orientation of the Group. At FLC resort complexes, Korean tourists are currently the main market, accounting for more than 50% of the total number of international visitors each year.
In particular, at FLC's resort complexes in Ha Long, Quy Nhon and Sam Son, the business and golfer segments of Korea recorded very positive growth, and this trend is strongly expanding to MICE activities and business cooperation.
