On the occasion of this year's National Day, Hanoi is expected to welcome a 30-40% increase in tourists compared to the same period, many retail businesses have simultaneously launched promotional programs, deep discounts and diverse incentives to stimulate consumption.
Talking to Lao Dong, Aeon Vietnam representative said that the September 2 National Day celebration is expected to increase the number of visitors to shopping malls, comprehensive shopping malls and supermarkets.
The number of visitors in the Hanoi area is expected to increase 2-3 times compared to normal days. The growth is mainly due to people's shopping and dining needs, in which Hanoi recorded a large number of tourists from other provinces and cities coming to attend the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
Shopping demand focuses on two main groups: products for families and tourists including fresh food, processed foods and food and beverage services and summer - fall beverage groups, school year stationery and tourism products.

According to Aeon Vietnam, consumers increasingly prioritize Vietnamese goods, while looking for products that are community- oriented and show patriotism during the holiday such as national flags, decorations, and costumes with red flag patterns with yellow stars.
As more people spend time attending and watching the parade, the trend of online orders is also expected to increase sharply.
