Representatives of MM Mega Market Vietnam said that the unit has increased the inventory level of goods to about 50%, 20% higher than the same period in previous years. From a market perspective, AEON Vietnam representatives forecast that the number of customers coming to shopping centers and supermarkets during the April 30 - May 1 holiday will increase by 10-25% depending on the region. Purchasing power is not only concentrated in food but also spreads to summer fashion, personal items, products for children preparing for summer vacation and cooling equipment.
According to businesses, the consumption trend during this period has changed significantly, people prioritize products serving family life during the holidays, and pay more attention to convenience and price factors.
