The Council of the Vietnam Banking Association has just issued a Resolution on electing the representative of the organization as Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Association for the 7th term (2020 - 2025).
Mr. Pham Toan Vuong, Member of the Board of Members (BOD), General Director of Agribank, was elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Association for the 7th term.
The Association Council assigns the Standing Agency to be responsible for preparing documents and procedures to report to the competent state management agency to ensure compliance with current regulations of law and the Charter (amended and supplemented) of the Vietnam Banking Association.
Previously, on January 9, 2025, the Council of the Vietnam Banking Association held its 6th session, term VII, to agree on the direction of activities in 2025.
At the meeting, members of the Association Council unanimously approved the dismissal of Mr. Pham Duc An from the position of Chairman of the Board of the Vietnam Banking Association (after Mr. An ceased to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank and took on a new assignment - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province).
Previously, in December 2024, Agribank held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Enterprise Party Committee to assign the responsibility of the Agribank Party Committee to comrade Pham Toan Vuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director.
