On the afternoon of February 25, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - arrived to work in Bac Lieu province.
Receiving the delegation were Mr. Lu Van Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Lieu province and members of the Standing Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee.
During the visit and working session, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang mobilized resources from 2 units: VICEM Ha Tien Cement Joint Stock Company, Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union to donate 20 houses with a total value of 1.2 billion VND to the "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" program of Bac Lieu province.
After receiving it, the locality will immediately review and promptly support 20 poor and near-poor households under the "Restoration of temporary and dilapidated houses" program in the locality.
Provincial Party Secretary Lu Van Hung and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee thanked the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and sponsors for their attention to the "Restoration of temporary and dilapidated houses" program in the locality and presented gifts of gratitude to businesses that have supported people in difficulty in the province.
At the same time, I hope that leaders, units and businesses will continue to support Bac Lieu in implementing social security work well, completing the goal of "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in the area.
