On the afternoon of February 25, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Agency held a conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of Central Party Agencies on the establishment of a Party Committee and appointing personnel for the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Agency for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Secretary of the Party Committees of Central Party Agencies Tran Cam Tu attended and presented the decision. Also attending the Conference were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia.
At the Conference, following the order of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies, Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee Organization Committee of the Central Party Agencies - announced two decisions: Establishing the Party Committee and appointing personnel for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of Central Party Agencies established the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee under the Party Committees of the Central Party Agencies.
The Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission has the function of leading affiliated party organizations to ensure the completion of political tasks; organization and personnel work according to management levels; building a clean and strong party organization associated with building strong agencies, units and socio-political organizations.
The Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission consists of 19 Party Committees and subordinate Party cells. The functions, tasks, organizational structure, and operating conditions of the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission are determined by the Secretariat.
The Party Executive Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee for the 2020-2025 term consists of 22 members. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission for the 2020-2025 term consists of 7 members.
Mr. Lai Xuan Mon - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee - was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
The Deputy Party Secretaries are Mr. Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Central Party Agencies, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Hay - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda Department.
