From January 1, 2026, more than 5 million business households nationwide will switch the form of tax payment from fixed tax to declaration based on revenue or actual income. At the same time, business households and individuals with revenue of 1 billion VND/year or more must apply electronic invoices with tax authority codes, invoices generated from cash registers connected to tax authorities. Notably, at the 10th session, the 15th National Assembly passed regulations to raise the taxable income threshold for business households and individuals to 500 million VND/year, applied from 2026. These adjustments are considered a step to realize the policy in Resolution No. 68/NQ-TW on private economic development, towards building a more transparent, professional and sustainable business environment.

In that context, the need to be systematically guided, consulted and accompanied by business households becomes more urgent than ever. The transformation is not only about fulfilling tax obligations, but also a process of changing thinking, management methods, operations and access to financial-digital tools suitable for the new development phase.
