Recorded at major gold trading stores in Ho Chi Minh City, the number of customers coming to transact is no longer as crowded as before. Trading activities are stable, no longer crowded or having to register in advance like during peak periods.
Ms. Tran Linh Nga (Cho Quan ward) said: "Previously, buying gold was quite hard, sometimes I had to go to many places to buy it. Now it's easier, I can buy gold without being too limited, so I'm also more reassured.
Meanwhile, Mr. Vuong Minh Tuan (Binh Trung ward) shared that he still maintains the habit of buying gold periodically to accumulate. "When the market is open, buyers like me are more proactive, no need to wait for the time or worry about running out of stock like before" - Mr. Tuan said.
At Mi Hong Company, the number of customers coming to buy is still quite bustling. This business currently allows each customer to buy a maximum of 2 taels of gold rings, instead of just 1 tael as before.

Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) said that people can now directly buy SJC gold bars at business points of sale, instead of having to register online as before. However, when arriving at the store, the remaining items and the quantity purchased will be notified at the time of transaction. For gold rings, SJC currently applies a maximum purchase price of 2 chi/person, double compared to before.
Notably, SJC Company also issued a warning about the appearance of many fanpages impersonating brands. These pages have similar operating methods, copying content from official channels and posting fraudulent information related to gold bar and gold ring transactions.
SJC affirms that it does not conduct any online buying and selling transactions, does not accept deposits to keep goods in any form and does not require customers to pay in advance. All transactions are only carried out directly at official sales points announced by the enterprise.
At about 10:30 am on April 11, in Ho Chi Minh City, SJC gold bar prices were listed at 169.4 million VND/tael for buying and 172.4 million VND/tael for selling; while in Mi Hong, the prices were 170.7-72.4 million VND/tael respectively.
