On April 11, Ia Pa Commune Police said that within 1 week, the unit received two reports about people finding bombs, bullets, and explosives after the war.
Specifically, at 2:30 PM on April 10, Ia Pa Commune Police received a report from Mr. Kpa Nung (born in 2009, residing in Blôm village, Ia Pa commune) about the discovery of a grenade left over from the war, rusty, lying on a rock in the Ba River area, the section flowing through Blôm village.
Immediately after receiving the information, Ia Pa Commune Police quickly verified and coordinated with the Commune Military Command to the scene to seize and handle the grenade to ensure safety.

On the afternoon of April 3, an 8th grade student in Quy Duc village, Ia Pa commune picked up a grenade and brought it to the Traffic Police Team of Ia Pa area (under Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police) when the force was patrolling and controlling on the Truong Son Dong route, passing through Quy Duc village.
The incident surprised many people because of the danger level of the grenade that had not exploded. After receiving it, Ia Pa Commune Police coordinated with the Commune Military Command to urgently blockade the scene, warn people and proceed to handle it safely.
Ia Pa Commune Police recommends: When detecting weapons, grenades, and bombs left over from the war, people need to quickly report to the nearest police or military force, absolutely do not arbitrarily dig or move to avoid danger.
