This morning (April 11), a fire occurred at a cold storage in alley 1 Bui Xuong Trach street (Khuong Dinh ward), causing many properties to be burned down, including 6 motorbikes and 1 car.
According to information from the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center, at about 6:40 am on April 11, the unit received a fire report at address No. 95, alley 1 Bui Xuong Trach street.
Immediately after that, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Area 13 (Fire and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police) dispatched 1 command vehicle and 2 fire trucks to the scene.
Center 114 also reinforced with 1 fire truck from Trung Van Sub-unit to coordinate firefighting.
The fire occurred on the 1st floor of an iron frame house with a corrugated iron roof, located on a land area of about 100m2 under the clearance area of the Ring Road 2.5 project. Due to being detected early, along with the coordination of functional forces and people participating in initial firefighting, the fire was quickly controlled and extinguished, not allowing it to spread.
The fire did not cause any casualties. However, initial records show 6 motorbikes, 1 truck, 1 refrigerator containing frozen food and many other items were damaged.
Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
