On November 13, information from the Hanoi Market Management Department said that recently, Market Management Team No. 11 coordinated with the functional forces of Ha Dong district to inspect the food production and trading site of DHT Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Kien Hung ward, Ha Dong district).
At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered a large quantity of finished and semi-finished products, raw materials, product labels, product packaging, and production tools without invoices or documents proving the legal origin of the goods.
Of these, there are 1,470 finished product tubes labeled by Korea - Green Life Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; 1,200 bottles of ZOO JELLY fruit-flavored gummy candies, labeled as manufactured by BIBICA Joint Stock Company, located at 443 Ly Thuong Kiet, Ward 8, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, distributed by DHT Pharmacy Joint Stock Company.
1,480 jars of fruit-flavored candy, the label says it was produced at the Branch of Bay Ba Bay Candy Company Limited, address 12 Hoang Le Kha, Ward 9, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City, distributed by DHT Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
In addition, during the inspection, the authorities also recorded over 7,100 semi-finished products such as effervescent tablets, raw materials, product labels, product packaging, and production tools; 500 kg of fruit-flavored candies without product labels; 110 kg of various product labels of Korea-Green Life Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; 2,900 labels of ZOO JELLY fruit-flavored gummy candies of BIBICA Joint Stock Company; 65 kg of plastic bottles and plastic bottle caps without product labels, along with a series of production tools such as heat guns and expiration date guns of unknown origin.
Initially, the inspection team determined that DHT Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company had signs of producing counterfeit food products of Korea – Green Life Pharmaceutical Company Limited; BIBICA Joint Stock Company; Bay Ba Bay Candy One Member Co., Ltd. and Branch of Bay Ba Bay Candy One Member Co., Ltd.
All goods have been detained for investigation and verification.
Deploying the tasks of November 2024, units under the Hanoi Steering Committee 389 continue to uphold the sense of responsibility in performing assigned tasks; thoroughly grasp, strictly and effectively implement the directions of the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee 389, the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, the City Steering Committee 389 on the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; deploy plans and combat measures appropriate to the situation and task requirements.
