Seizing and destroying 400 liters of alcohol of unknown origin in Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh - Functional forces have just discovered and handled a business establishment selling 400 liters of alcohol of unknown origin in Phu Ly ward.

Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Department (QLTT) has just announced that Market Management Team No. 11 in coordination with Phu Ly Ward Police conducted an inspection of a business household owned by Ms. D.T. H. P in Phu Ly ward.

Through inspection, the inspection team discovered that this establishment was trading 400 liters of alcohol without goods labels, without showing information about the place of production, supplier, ingredients, production date or expiration date as prescribed. The establishment owner could not present invoices and documents proving the legal origin of the goods; and could not provide documents related to food safety assurance conditions for the alcohol products being traded.

Market Management Team No. 11 issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against the above business household with a fine of 12 million VND, and at the same time forced the destruction of all violating goods according to the provisions of law.

In the coming time, Market Management Team No. 11 will continue to strengthen local management, promote market inspection and control, focusing on commodity groups such as food, foodstuffs, alcohol, beer, confectionery and essential consumer goods with high demand. Thereby, to promptly detect and strictly handle violations, contributing to market stability and protecting consumer rights in the area.
