On September 13, at the Customs Directorate headquarters, the Customs Directorate Union held a ceremony to mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to support people affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).
At the launching ceremony, Deputy Directorate General Luu Manh Tuong, Chairman of the Customs Directorate Trade Union emphasized: Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, promoting the tradition of solidarity, with the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", the Customs Directorate called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to support and share difficulties with the people to soon overcome the damage and stabilize their lives.
The total amount of donations from officers, civil servants, public employees and workers at the Directorate Customs agency block to date is 859 million VND.
The Customs Directorate Union will transfer 200 million VND to the Ministry of Finance Union to transfer to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The remaining amount of donations will be directly brought by the Customs Directorate Union to affected localities to support people to overcome the consequences of rain and floods, quickly overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and restore production.
