On November 11, the inspection team of Market Management Team No. 1 of the Market Management Department of Thai Binh province suddenly inspected the milk and diaper store of the business household TVH (address in Tien Hai town, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province).
At the time of inspection, the team discovered that the store was selling nutritional formula products with labels that were obscured and the required information on the labels was not readable. The total value of the goods according to the listed price at the store was 12.78 million VND.
The inspection team also discovered that the store was displaying and preserving a food product, cheese, with the product label stating "refrigerate at 0 degrees Celsius - 5 degrees Celsius". Meanwhile, the thermometer at the store showed 28 degrees Celsius. Thus, the business household T.V.H was preserving a food product (cheese) that did not comply with the storage conditions stated on the product label.
On November 11, the Captain of Market Management Team No. 1 issued a Decision to sanction administrative violations against business household T.V.H for two administrative violations: trading in goods with labels but the mandatory content on the label was covered so that the label could not be read and preserving food products (cheese) that did not comply with the preservation conditions stated on the label of that product. The total amount of administrative sanctions was 10.5 million VND.
On the same day (November 11), Market Management Team No. 5 of the Market Management Department of Thai Binh province suddenly inspected the business household V.V.T (address in Quang Trung Commune, Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh Province). At the time of inspection, the team discovered that the business was selling 190 products including: 30 battery-powered light bulbs; 50 hair clippers; 110 headlamps. The total value of the goods calculated at the listed price was 12.5 million VND.
It is worth noting that the information on the product packaging does not provide any basis for determining the origin or place of production of the goods. The representative of Mr. V.V.T.'s business household could not present invoices, documents certifying the origin of the goods or papers proving legal ownership of the goods. All of the above goods are of unknown origin.
The Captain of Market Management Team No. 5 issued a Decision to fine the business household V.V.T 6 million VND and confiscate all of the above goods for handling according to regulations.
