VietinBank's QR code payment service in Laos has now been accepted by 14 banks in the country of a million elephants. The list of banks accepting payment will be continuously expanded by VietinBank in the coming time to increasingly enhance customer experience.
Previously, in early 2024, VietinBank brought QR payment service via VietinBank iPay to Thailand. It is estimated that on average, there are thousands of payment transactions via VietinBank's Thai QR service each month. Initially, customers have had positive feedback when experiencing the service. To identify QR codes in Laos that can be paid via VietinBank iPay, customers can refer to the following identifying signs: The payment QR code will have both the logo of the bank accepting the payment, the logo of LAPNet - the switching organization providing services in Laos, and especially will not have a photo of the account holder (only personal QR codes have a photo of the account holder).
