According to experts from the Metric. vn data aggregation and exploitation platform, in the third quarter of 2026, sales on 4 major e-commerce platforms in Vietnam are forecast to reach 146.3 trillion VND, an increase of 2.31% compared to the second quarter of this year. The number of products sold is expected to reach 1.084 million, an increase compared to the previous 3 months.

Regarding consumer trends, analysis shows that products related to summer travel season, school starts, National Day holidays and seasonal weather will be sought after from suitcases, travel backpacks, travel bags, sunscreen, backpacks, stationery, school supplies, raincoats, waterproof shoes, drying equipment, dehumidifiers and home care...

Experts also give recommendations to sellers. Accordingly, in research and development strategies, they need to prioritize products according to actual needs, optimize product quality and information, adjust the portfolio seasonally, and apply data to sales.

With investment and business, sellers need to identify priority lists, allocate resources to products with stable sales. They also need to develop appropriate sales channels, control efficiency according to each product, before making appropriate marketing plans.
