According to Thanh Hoa Market Management Sub-Department, from January 1 to June 14, 2026, the entire provincial market management force deployed 616 inspections, thereby detecting and handling 487 violations.
The total amount of administrative fines, confiscation and destruction of violating goods is more than 8.6 billion VND.
The violations discovered are concentrated in many areas, such as intellectual property infringement, trading in goods of unknown origin, violations of food safety regulations, goods showing signs of trademark counterfeiting, and poor quality goods.
Notably, during the inspection process, Thanh Hoa market management forces coordinated with functional agencies to handle and destroy many types of goods of unknown origin, including food and consumer products that potentially affect people's health.
Along with market inspection and control work, functional forces also integrate propaganda and guidance for business households and businesses to comply with legal regulations in commercial activities.
