At Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited (Hanoi), there are currently 2,299 employees. Recognizing the effectiveness of initiatives and improvements in improving production value and developing enterprises, the Board of Directors in coordination with the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union always focuses on promoting patriotic emulation movements, especially emulation to promote initiatives, improvements, and practicing thrift, thereby contributing to increasing production and business efficiency for enterprises.
Along with attention and care, the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Trade Union of Stanley Electricity Company Limited also have many direct solutions to create conditions for employees to promote initiatives and improvements.
The company has established an Improvement Committee with 2 departments, including Improvement Promotion and Improvement Training, with the aim of building a production system that can provide products at low cost/high efficiency, promote cost-cutting and inventory reduction activities, plan to improve and reduce personnel, shorten work cycles and verify the improvement results of departments.
In particular, the company develops a reward regulations for individuals with outstanding achievements in initiatives and improvements. Accordingly, for each theme and innovation idea, whether effective or not, there will be a reward of 20,000 VND/ish, the number of initiatives will be rewarded exceeding the prescribed target of 50,000 VND/ish (not yet calculated for effectiveness). Improvements with third prize or higher in improvement exams will be awarded a 7-day trip to Japan/Thailand.
Through the above reform movements, dozens of individuals have appeared with good improvements, many teams and departments have improved well with over 70,703 initiatives and improvements proposed, over 60,000 initiatives have been applied to reality, achieving practical results such as reducing over 30,000m2 of workplace area, reducing production phase time and delivery time to 1/3, processing over 300 domestic machinery and spare parts to replace imported goods, localizing domestic components has saved and benefiting the company billions of dong each year.

Wishing to be allocated research resources
As one of the people awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor at the forum "Promoting the creative potential of workers" at the 2025 Creative Labor Festival at the General Confederation level, Mr. Nguyen Duc Manh, Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation, made a number of proposals for the creative - creative movement to develop.
One of them is for workers - those who are most knowledgeable about the production process - to proactively learn, apply technology and boldly propose new solutions. On the side of the Union and the enterprise, Mr. Manh expressed his desire to create an environment to encourage creativity, arrange resources for testing, timely rewards, organize creative playgrounds and build a research data warehouse on a digital platform to share across the industry.
Importantly, from reality, Mr. Manh analyzed that the State needs to continue to innovate education, focusing on training creative thinking for workers right from school. Moreover, it is necessary to propagate to help workers change their thinking about "working for a salary" and being content with the work they are doing. Only when we clearly see the connection between initiatives with income and benefits can we create motivation and motivate each person to strive to explore and be creative.
This thinking is one of the important factors for Mr. Nguyen Duc Manh to improve the JUKI AMS 221EN-3020 programming machine into an automatic vest loading and unloading machine. This initiative has improved production efficiency and overcome limitations in the sewing and loading of bags using a one-throw machine. After a short time of implementation, the productivity has increased from about 2,057 products to 4,800 products/day; simpler operations, stable sewing quality, significantly reducing wrinkles, fabric pulling and product Sequence errors.
Returning to Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited, to achieve results in the emulation of creative labor, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union has made proposals on policies for employees, material and spiritual encouragement for labor performance; building a creative labor collective, a good environment for creative workers; doing a good job of communication, especially communication on the creative labor path, making special contributions directly to employees, contributing to spreading the noble values of employees in the process of social development. Thereby creating motivation for workers to constantly cultivate, research, learn and improve their skills.
