These days, the atmosphere of Workers' Month has been bustling in many places with rich activities to care for workers. In Kim Lien ward (Hanoi), immediately after the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026, the ward Trade Union organized the awarding of gifts and allowances to union members in difficult circumstances and signed a welfare program for the period 2026 - 2028, creating more practical support policies on health care, preferential shopping and improving workers' lives.

Accordingly, the Ward Trade Union coordinated with Hanel Joint Stock Company, TK Elevator Elevator Group Co., Ltd., and Vietnam Ngoc Linh Ginseng Group Joint Stock Company to present 20 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND, including cash and gifts. This is a meaningful activity, showing the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization with union members and workers.

In Workers' Month 2026, Kim Lien Ward Trade Union identified 6 key task groups. Among them, the highlights are organizing the program "May Dialogue", "Thank you workers", "Trade Union Meals", visiting and giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, people with labor accidents, occupational diseases. The highlight of this year's program is the model "Each grassroots trade union, one union member's benefit" with activities to improve welfare, organize cultural and sports festivals, health care, tourism, vacation; signing with welfare partners to bring practical benefits to union members.

The Ward Trade Union requests grassroots Trade Unions to strengthen information channels, take advantage of social networks to listen to workers' recommendations; organize periodic dialogues, review and supplement Collective Labor Agreements in a direction that is more beneficial to workers.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Chairman of Kim Lien Ward Trade Union, activities in Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health will not only stop at peak movements but will become regular and continuous activities in units and businesses.

Thereby, contributing to building harmonious and progressive labor relations and especially improving the material and spiritual life of workers; spreading a civilized office lifestyle, environmental protection awareness and community responsibility among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the area.

Also in order to focus on implementing activities to care for and bring many benefits to union members and workers, at the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026 organized by the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung Ward in coordination with the Ward Trade Union, Hai Ba Trung Ward Trade Union signed the 2026 Union Member Welfare Program with Apollo Vietnam Education and Training Organization and Hanoi Plaza KCC Co., Ltd. with many practical incentives, including supporting 200 scholarships with a total amount of over 1 billion VND.

The Fund "For the Poor" mobilization board of the ward also presented gifts to 15 workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 15,000,000 VND. With this gift, the difficulties of workers have eased, and at the same time multiplied the concern of the government and the Trade Union organization.

Innovation, improving labor productivity

Workers' Month is also a peak month to promote the innovation movement, digital initiatives, and improve labor productivity. Improving labor productivity not only helps businesses develop production but also increases income for workers themselves, thereby improving their lives.

From the reality of Vietnam's textile and garment industry, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union shared: Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health are not only a peak month, an annual milestone, but a regular task, a journey to build an internal foundation and strengthen the resilience of the entire system in the new era.

From innovation, improving labor productivity, professional skills to comprehensive care, strong connection, each activity aims to form a proactive, steadfast, attached labor force, with businesses overcoming challenges. With the spirit of innovation, the companionship of businesses, trade union organizations and the positive response from workers, Workers' Month 2026 of the Textile and Garment industry will truly become a brilliant highlight, spreading a vibrant emulation atmosphere, creating momentum for solid and successful development steps of the entire system.

In Workers' Month 2026, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union will organize many activities to care for union members and workers. Including supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from labor accidents, and serious illnesses in all 3 regions of North, Central, and South; Supporting funding for equipment and facilities for grassroots trade unions; and allocating funds to build and repair Trade Union Shelter houses for workers in difficult housing circumstances. Honoring "Outstanding core workers" and commending typical collectives and individuals who well implement the movement "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style".
