On April 12, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation announced that it had issued a plan to organize "Trade Union Meals" at trade union levels.
This plan aims to concretize activities in Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
The activity is implemented based on Plan No. 22/KH-LD dated March 30, 2026 on organizing Workers' Month and Plan No. 27/KH-LD dated March 31, 2026 on caring for union members and workers.
Trade Union Meals" are organized at grassroots trade unions, in coordination between trade unions and employers.
Not only stopping at a meal, the program is also an opportunity for workers, trade union organizations and business leaders to share, dialogue, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding.
Thereby, consolidating trust and strengthening the attachment of union members to trade union organizations and employers.
According to the plan, the organization must ensure practicality, efficiency, and not affect production and business activities.
The value of meals is increased compared to daily meals through the support of trade unions, businesses and socialized sources, while ensuring food safety and hygiene.
In which, priority is given to implementation in enterprises with many workers and difficult conditions, aiming for the goal that all workers are entitled to the program.
In addition to the peak period in May 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation also encourages units to maintain "Trade Union Meals" on major holidays, Tet and important events, towards regular monthly organization.
Reality shows that in the period 2023 - 2025, the program has been implemented by 1,236 grassroots trade unions of enterprises in the province with a total budget of more than 2.49 billion VND.
Many units maintain it regularly, creating a positive spillover effect, contributing to improving the quality of lunch meals and the lives of workers.
