In the bustling modern life, as the workload, economic pressure and digital technology gradually overwhelm the chat space on the table, the role of the family becomes more important and should be promoted more than ever.
The family is not only the place where we are born and raised, but also the cradle of personality formation, nurturing the soul and shaping the value of life. In every Vietnamese family, whether in urban or rural areas, the image of a hard-working mother, a father silently carrying a father, grandparents with a store of traditional memories and a flood of young people growing up together... is still a symbol of unconditional attachment and love. Family is the place we return to when we are tired, a place containing memories, forgiveness and even the first lessons of life that cannot be found in the sermon.
In the context of changing society, the family model is also changing. Nuclear families are increasingly popular, the gap between generations can be shortened geographically but sometimes distance in communication. Issues such as divorce, domestic violence, gaps between parents and children or the pressure of "successfully raising children" are making many houses fragile. However, the family is still a solid spiritual support, a "root people" contributing to nurturing a sustainable development society.

Not only is the foundation of personal ethics, family also plays an important role in educating citizens, where children learn to live decently, love, be responsible and respect others. Those values, if sown early in each family, will become a solid foundation for the whole community. A strong society is a society built from strong families - where love is a glue connecting, where members are not only relatives but also companions in life.

Commemorating Vietnamese Family Day is not only an occasion to show gratitude for traditional values but also a reminder for each person to spend time with each other and listen to each other more. A real meal, a phone-free conversation, or simply going for a walk together, can all heal and rebuild the closeness that has been accidentally forgotten.

A family, whether small or large, traditional or modern, is always an irreplaceable spiritual home. In a world full of change, when everything can change, family affection, if nurtured by love and understanding, will still be the most peaceful place for everyone to find.
