I practiced and played golf for a long time, until I was 9 years old, my father allowed me to compete in my first official tournament. That is the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Golf Tournament. This tournament I played with many sticks, reaching the final third place in my age group. The above results help me love golf more and be determined to pursue a career as a professional golfer, Nguyen Tuan Anh shared.
Tuan Anh once thought that his influence on golf was from his father. The golfer's father is a very strict person who requires his children to work hard to complete basic techniques. After that, Tuan Anh was able to compete in a professional tournament to understand his abilities.
Like famous golfers such as Nguyen Anh Minh, Nguyen Duc Son, Le Khanh Hung..., Nguyen Tuan Anh has matured with golf when his family supported his passion for sports. When I was encouraged by my family, I had great motivation to practice professionally and then compete to bring results that were true to my ability, said Nguyen Tuan Anh.

Vietnam Golf recorded Nguyen Tuan Anh as the third athlete to ever win the championship at the Faldo Serie A Finals. Previously, Nguyen Anh Minh was the champion of the 2023 tournament and Nguyen Duc Son won the 2024 championship.
Nguyen Tuan Anh is affirming his mark through a number of domestic tournaments. However, it was not until this young face won the Faldo Serie A 2025 Final Round that the media really paid attention to the Ho Chi Minh City golfer. Last year, Nguyen Tuan Anh was the runner-up of the 2024 National Golf Championship.

Recalling the 2024 National Golf Championship in Hai Phong, experts witnessed a rather exciting three-horse race in the men's group between Nguyen Duc Son, Nguyen Tuan Anh and Doan Uy. Although he only won the overall runner-up position, Nguyen Tuan Anh admitted that he still had to learn more experience because there was a long journey ahead for him to continue to conquer his expertise in golf.
Nguyen Tuan Anh's one-day schedule is focused on golfing full-time in two mornings/ Afternoon. "I implement the training program according to the set curriculum in the morning and afternoon. Usually, I finish my workout late in the afternoon (17 or 18:00, then spend some time at the gym. The evening is the time when I learn culture with online textbooks, Nguyen Tuan Anh said.

Finding opportunities to participate in the SEA Games
In March 2025, the Vietnam Golf Association established the Vietnam Golf team and Nguyen Tuan Anh was on the list of 10 male players. The Vietnamese golf team aims to the most important goal in 2025 to attend the 33th SEA Games. Coach Nguyen Thai Duong of the Vietnam Golf team once expressed that the opportunity to have the SEA Games 33 is divided equally for national players and if they achieve good professional results in the selected tournament, the ticket will hand.
Nguyen Tuan Anh or Nguyen Duc Son, Nguyen Anh Minh, Le Khanh Hung, Doan Uy, Ho Anh Huy, Pham The Nam, Do Duong Gia Minh, Le Minh Nghia, Justin Le... are the most promising male golfers in Vietnam. Nguyen Tuan Anh said that one of his dreams is to achieve glory results to the Fatherland in the prestigious golf arena. The humble player: "I have seen the Vietnamese golf team and win the Gold Medal at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia. Golf Vietnam has a mark and all athletes like me are very touched. I am focusing on learning and gaining experience to have good expertise and hope that in the future will participate in the SEA Games arena like seniors and seniors."

The Vietnam Golf Association has announced that it will take the competition results of athletes nationwide at the Vietnam Amateur Open 2025 and the Vietnam Ladies Amateur Open 2025, taking place at Dalat Palace Golf Club (Da Lat, Lam Dong) from June 12 to 14, as one of the professional bases to select the force to participate in the 33-2025 SEA Games.
According to the registration, Nguyen Tuan Anh is sure to participate in the tournament. He also believes in finding opportunities for himself.
