On the afternoon of February 28, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce decisions to end the operation of a number of affiliated units; establish a number of trade union organizations and personnel work.
In particular, the activities of the units include: Construction Trade Union, Health Trade Union, Education Trade Union, Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union will end.
At the same time, establish the Provincial Party Trade Union with 20 grassroots trade unions and 636 union members; the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union with 127 grassroots trade unions and 11,689 union members; and appoint the Executive Committee, the Provisional Inspection Committee and other positions.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung (Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor) was appointed to concurrently hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Trade Union; Ms. Bui Thi Kim Nguyen (Chairman of the Provincial Construction Trade Union) was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Provincial Party Trade Union.
Ms. Pham Thu Huong (Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor) was appointed to concurrently hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union; Ms. Le Thi Minh Hoang (Vice Chairman of the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union) was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Provincial Party Agencies' Trade Union.
Establish the Provincial Federation of Labor's professional board on the basis of merging the Propaganda - Women's Union and the Department of Legal Policy - Labor Relations (CSPL - QHLD); appoint the board's leadership positions.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Ngan (Head of the CSPL - QHLD) was transferred and appointed to the position of Head of the Professional Affairs Committee; Ms. Le Xuan Truc (Deputy Head of the CSPL - QHLD) and Ms. Hoang Thi Hai (Deputy Head of the Propaganda - Women's Union) were transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Professional Affairs Committee.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also announced decisions on the transfer and appointment of 5 union officials assigned to new work tasks.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Nguyen Chau Trinh - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - for completing his tasks well in the past time, and being approved by the Provincial Party Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau to stop working pending the settlement of pension regimes; as well as the newly established trade union officials.
