Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor in collaboration with the Trade Union University organized the opening ceremony of the 2025 "L legal knowledge for trade union officials" class for 125 trade union officials under the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Canh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation; Dr. Nguyen Duc Tinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the Trade Union University; Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Thanh Xuan - Director of the Institute of International Training, fostering and Cooperation.
The course includes the following subjects: Trade Union Law, State Theory and Law, Civil Law, Labor Law, Law on Social Insurance, Health Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene, skills in applying law in labor relations, skills in negotiating, negotiating, resolving labor disputes and strikes, skills in propagating, disseminating and consulting on law for employees; going on field trips at enterprises.
At the end of the course, students will prepare a graduation report and be granted a certificate by the Trade Union University. The course is not only an opportunity for students to update information, basic knowledge, and new knowledge in the legal field, but also an opportunity for union officials to have the opportunity to meet, exchange, and learn from colleagues, thereby improving their staff capacity and excellently completing assigned tasks.
Dr. Nguyen Duc Tinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the Trade Union University emphasized: The work of training and fostering trade union cadres is increasingly valued, especially in the context of the rapid development of information technology and constant innovation in the socio-economic structure; supplementing legal knowledge is extremely necessary for trade union cadres.
Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Van Canh suggested that union officials participating in the class seriously develop a study plan, conduct in-depth research, promote the spirit of self-study, proactiveness, and creativity to achieve the best results.
