Dat Viet Environmental Technology Company Limited is a consulting unit on environmental work, located in Dinh Ke Industrial Cluster, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province.
After the company went into stable operation and met the conditions for establishing a grassroots trade union organization, the City Labor Federation sent staff to approach the unit and workers to propagate and mobilize them to participate in the trade union organization.
As a result, 100% of employees (37/37) working at the company have voluntarily applied to join the trade union. The City Labor Federation has instructed the company to organize grassroots Trade Union Congresses according to regulations. At the congress, an Executive Committee of 3 comrades and an Inspection Committee of 3 comrades were elected.
At the announcement ceremony, the leaders of the City Labor Federation gave a speech to disseminate the functions and tasks of the grassroots trade union organization, the rights and obligations of union members in enterprises; at the same time, directed and assigned specific tasks to the grassroots trade union executive committee.
The Federation leaders also acknowledged and thanked the Company's Board of Directors for their attention and facilitation for the establishment of the trade union organization; at the same time, they requested the Executive Board of the grassroots trade union to promote its role and responsibility, actively propagate and mobilize union members to comply with the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies, the unit's rules and regulations; pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of workers and continue to admit new union members when the company recruits more workers.
The conference also heard the company's leadership representative speak, affirming that it will fully comply with the provisions of the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, and at the same time commit to closely coordinate with the grassroots trade union to better care for workers.
In the coming time, the City Labor Federation will continue to promote the development of union members and the establishment of trade union organizations, in order to help grassroots trade unions effectively promote their functions and tasks in enterprises.
