On June 10, in the Thuan Thanh - Gia Binh area, Comrade Thach Van Chung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, chaired a meeting and exchange with the Chairmen of grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) of enterprises in industrial parks in the area.
With the working motto "Asking directly, answering immediately" - the Conference was openly deployed with many frank exchanges of opinions from grassroots trade union presidents.
In a democratic and open atmosphere, delegates also frankly reflected on the difficulties from the reality of trade union activities and the lives of workers, focusing on many important groups of issues...
Regarding social security policies and industrial park infrastructure, grassroots trade unions reflect the demand for social housing of workers, especially migrant workers, which is currently very large but still has many obstacles in access conditions.
Delegates proposed that the Provincial Labor Federation continue to act as a bridge with functional agencies to research and advise on perfecting mechanisms and criteria that are more suitable to reality, helping workers have the opportunity to stabilize their accommodation and feel secure in working for a long time.
Many opinions also reflect the lack of ATM transaction points in areas near industrial parks, causing inconvenience for workers in daily life.
In addition, the situation of recruitment signs and leaflets still lacking planning is also proposed to have solutions to build centralized, official and convenient recruitment information points for workers to access; have appropriate support mechanisms for direct production workers participating in sports tournaments organized by trade unions on holidays, contributing to promoting the cultural and sports movement among workers.
At the working session, Comrade Thach Van Chung directly exchanged and answered many contents related to trade union financial work; the management and use of trade union funds, union fees; new regulations on deduction and settlement and difficulties and obstacles arising in the process of implementation at the grassroots level.
At the same time, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation have guided, introduced and deployed the Mini App of Bac Ninh Trade Union, a digital platform to strengthen connections between trade union organizations and union members and workers; supporting the receipt of information, processing procedures, updating policies, welfare and trade union activities quickly and conveniently...
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Comrade Thach Van Chung, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility, enthusiasm and frank contributions of the team of grassroots trade union officials.
At the same time, Comrade Thach Van Chung affirmed that the Provincial Labor Federation will fully summarize the recommendations, classify them according to each group of contents to coordinate with functional agencies to consider, resolve or propose to competent authorities; The Labor Federation will continue to strengthen grassroots support in professional, financial, digital transformation and care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in the province.
