Ms. Le Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Italian - Asian Door Technology Company Limited - said that the company has agreed to send 500 million VND to the account of the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor to support people affected by the storm and flood. Ms. Le Thi Huong personally supported 100 million VND by buying essential items and planned to go with her relatives to deliver them to the victims.
At HanSoll Vina Co., Ltd., Ms. Pham Thi Phuong (born in 1968, from Thai Binh, just quit her job) sent 5 million VND to the grassroots union. The company's grassroots union said that Ms. Huong shared that during her time working at the company, she saw that the grassroots union had many times effectively implemented campaigns to support the needy. Therefore, when she quit her job, she wanted to leave a little bit of her heart so that the grassroots union could use this money to support the needy or people affected by storms and floods.
The grassroots union of Hung Kiu Garment Company Limited (Vietnam) mobilized workers and businesses to support 182 million VND.
The Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor said that on September 12, the provincial federation of labor officials donated to support people affected by storms and floods. At the same time, the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor issued a letter calling on union members, workers, union officials, and businesses to join hands to support people affected by storms and floods.
Binh Duong Provincial Labor Federation mobilized cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to donate one day's salary or more; to donate clothes, books, and necessities.
Monetary support can be transferred to the account of the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor. For goods and necessities, it can be transferred to the Binh Duong Provincial Labor Culture Center in An Phu Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province.
The money and donated goods will be collected by the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor, together with Binh Duong provincial agencies, and delivered to people in flood-affected areas.
