Find a job at the end of the year
According to the Employment Service Center (DVVL) of Can Tho City, the labor market situation in the city at the end of 2024 is quite vibrant. By the end of November 2024, nearly 50 enterprises had registered to recruit workers with more than 4,500 vacant positions. The positions to be recruited are diverse and abundant such as production workers, general workers, fruit processing workers, security guards, interns, sewing workers, physical therapy technicians, sales staff, etc.
Faced with many attractive positions, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam (born in 1996, O Mon district, Can Tho city) - seized this opportunity, applying to companies with the hope of finding a suitable job with an attractive salary in her hometown.
Ms. Tam shared that this is a good time to find a new job when recruitment demand is increasing. “I plan to go to the City Employment Service Center for support in finding a job. In addition to connecting with reputable businesses, I hope to receive vocational training support to meet job requirements and stay long-term,” Ms. Tam expressed.
Having quit her job to stay home to take care of her child, these days, Ms. Le Thi Duyen (born 2000, O Mon District, Can Tho City) has started applying to companies to look for a new job. Many relatives advised Ms. Duyen to find a job after Tet, but she herself thinks that now is a good time to get a new job. “Businesses increase recruitment at the end of the year, which is an attractive opportunity for those who want to find a job. Now my daughter can go to daycare, while the cost of living in the family is getting higher and higher, if I get a job a day earlier, I will help my husband a day earlier,” Ms. Duyen said.
According to Ms. Duyen, she hopes that localities or departments and branches will have policies and training programs to help workers improve their skills and have opportunities to develop in their jobs.
