Hai Duong innovates vocational training for rural workers

Hai Duong - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to implement innovation in vocational training for rural workers in the province.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a Plan to implement the Plan of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee on implementing Directive No. 37-CT/TW of the Secretariat on innovation in vocational training for rural workers to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas.

The plan aims to comprehensively innovate and create breakthroughs in vocational training associated with job creation for rural workers, especially high-quality human resources. Thereby, improving vocational skills to ensure quality, sufficient quantity, reasonable occupational structure, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas in the province.

Innovate, improve, standardize training content, vocational skills, emphasize practice, promote learners' initiative, focus on training, improve the quality of rural human resources, meet the requirements of labor structure shift in the province, associated with preserving and promoting cultural space in rural areas.

Training a professional rural workforce, especially young workers, with knowledge and vocational skills, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development associated with sustainable employment.

Every year, Hai Duong provides vocational training for 2,000 rural workers who are granted degrees/certificates. The rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates will reach 33% in 2025 and 43% in 2030.

The plan sets out 6 groups of tasks and solutions, including: Focusing on leadership and direction on innovation in vocational training for rural workers; Innovating the content and form of communication work, vocational training consultancy and job introduction; Comprehensively innovating, improving the quality and effectiveness of vocational training for rural workers; improving the quality of vocational training institutions; Promoting and effectively exploiting the opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, innovating and diversifying forms and methods of vocational training for rural workers.
