On October 17, Can Tho Education Trade Union held a meeting to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024) and the 14th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 2010 - October 20, 2024).
The meeting was held to propagate and educate the glorious tradition and good qualities of Vietnamese women; continue to promote the values of "Confidence - Self-respect - Loyalty - Responsibility", strive to improve qualifications in all aspects, compete in creative labor, build "Prosperous, equal, progressive, happy" families; commend and honor the contributions of female managers, teachers, and workers in the period of promoting industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City Tran Thanh Binh sent his congratulations, deep gratitude and acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the team of female managers, teachers and workers who have devoted themselves to the cause of education.
In the coming time, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City said that the sector will continue to strengthen information and propaganda work, create a gender-equal working environment; pay attention to the thoughts and development of women in the Education and Training sector.
The union will also organize many activities to care for the spiritual life and improve the quality of work for female managers, teachers and workers.
The meeting took place in a joyful and cozy atmosphere. Female managers, teachers and workers participated in democratic flower picking activities and lucky draw with many attractive gifts from the Organizing Committee and sponsors.
