This is an activity to strengthen the leadership of the Party, promote the implementation of political tasks of the Party Delegation of Can Tho City Labor Federation and Co Do District Party Committee in the period of promoting industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration in the new situation.
The coordination of work between the Party Delegation of the Can Tho City Labor Federation and the Co Do District Party Committee is based on the functions, tasks and powers of each unit according to the Party's regulations, the State's legal policies, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the Can Tho City Party Committee.
The two units will coordinate in leading, directing and disseminating the implementation of the Party's Resolutions and Directives, the State's legal policies, Resolution 02 - NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation", the implementation of Resolution 06/NQ-DCT dated January 16, 2023 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on implementing policies to support union members and employees whose working hours are reduced or whose labor contracts are terminated due to businesses cutting or reducing orders.
At the same time, coordinate the implementation of political tasks, Party building work, organizational work, key cadres of the Co Do District Labor Federation; lead the inspection and supervision of Trade Union activities and workers' movements in the district.
On the same day, the Co Do District Labor Federation held a ceremony to hand over the Decision on developing union members and establishing the Cashew Nut Separating Union in Thoi Hoa Hamlet, Thoi Dong Commune.
After a period of mobilization and propaganda, workers of the Cashew Nut Separating Professional Group in Thoi Hoa Hamlet, Thoi Dong Commune clearly understood the position, role, functions, powers and benefits of union members and voluntarily applied to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
At the ceremony, the Co Do District Labor Federation approved the Decision on admitting union members and the Decision on establishing the Cashew Nut Separating Union in Thoi Hoa Hamlet, Thoi Dong Commune. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong holds the position of union president.
On this occasion, the Co Do District Labor Federation also presented 22 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the commune from socialized sources, each worth 300,000 VND.
