For actual salary paid in 2024, the highest payment level is 151.4 million VND/month (foreign-invested enterprises); the average payment level is 8.32 million VND/month; the lowest payment level is 4.2 million VND/month (state-owned enterprises).
Currently, 362 enterprises plan to give bonuses for the 2025 Lunar New Year; 462 enterprises have not planned to give bonuses. Of which, the highest expected bonus for the 2025 Lunar New Year is 151.4 million VND (foreign-invested enterprises); the average bonus is 3.16 million VND; the lowest bonus is 200,000 VND (foreign-invested enterprises).
Regarding the Lunar New Year 2025 bonus, there are currently 559 enterprises planning to give Tet bonuses; 265 enterprises have not planned to give bonuses. Of which, the highest expected Lunar New Year 2025 bonus is 300 million VND (private enterprises); the average bonus is 5.65 million VND; the lowest bonus is 200,000 VND (private enterprises).
According to reports from units, there has been no record of salary arrears of businesses.
In 2024, enterprises organized 279 dialogues (of which 254 were regular dialogues, 18 were dialogues upon request of one or more parties, and 7 were case-based dialogues). Labor conciliators at all levels received and resolved 13 individual labor disputes, of which 11 were successful.
The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinates with the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the Management Board of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones and the People's Committees of districts and towns to regularly monitor and grasp the production, business and life of workers in enterprises.
The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Management Board of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones and the People's Committees of districts and towns requested local enterprises to coordinate and discuss with grassroots trade unions to review labor contracts, collective labor agreements, salary payment regulations, and bonus regulations to implement salary and bonus regimes for employees according to the agreed content; develop a bonus plan based on production and business results in 2024 and notify employees in the enterprise.
