On October 22, the Thot Not District Labor Federation (TLF) announced that it had recently held a conference to summarize the activities of the Education Sector Trade Union for the 2023-2024 school year.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the Thot Not District Education Trade Union conducted 576 propaganda sessions to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers about the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies, patriotic emulation movements, etc. with 17,689 participants.
The unit also launched a campaign to write initiatives to contribute to improving teaching quality in the 2023-2024 school year with 471 initiatives reaching the grassroots level and 8 initiatives reaching the city level.
The mobilization of contributions to the Golden Heart Fund of Can Tho Trade Union reached 100%; presented 3 Trade Union Shelters to union members and 1,003 gifts to children of employees and workers in difficult circumstances. The trade unions actively mobilized contributions to the travel savings fund, attracting 1,049 union members to participate, with a total amount of 500 million VND.
In the new school year, the Thot Not District Labor Union sets out the tasks for the Education Union, focusing on promoting the emulation movements of "Good teaching, good learning", "Innovation in management, teaching and learning", "Good workers, creative workers".
At the conference, 4 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their achievements in implementing the Excellent Labor emulation movement and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2023; 42 collectives and 71 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Can Tho City Labor Federation and Thot Not District for their good performance in the Excellent Labor emulation movement and building a strong Trade Union organization; the emulation movement of Good at public work - Good at housework in the 2023 - 2024 school year.
