On November 15, the Thoi Lai District Labor Federation (TLF) held a ceremony to present the Trade Union Shelter to 3 union members with difficult housing circumstances in the district. In attendance was Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Le Thi Suong Mai.
This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance, and the concern of trade unions at all levels for the lives of cadres, workers, civil servants, and laborers. From there, it helps them stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work, and complete their assigned tasks well.
Accordingly, the union members who received support to build the shelter were union member Huynh Thi Hong Dan (Xuan Thang Commune Union), union member Le Thi Be Chi (Truong Xuan 2 Primary School Union) and union member Ho Thi Kim Tuyen (Truong Thanh 1 Secondary School Union).
The union members all have difficult housing circumstances and cannot afford repairs. The City Labor Federation, District Labor Federation and the unit's Trade Union promptly supported them to build the Union Shelter.
After a period of construction, the shelters were completed and put into use. The Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in Can Tho supported each family with 50 million VND.
At the ceremony, the City Labor Federation, District Labor Federation, and Trade Unions of the units shared their joy and wished that union members would strive to work, complete assigned targets, and enthusiastically participate in activities launched by the Trade Union organization.
