Most recently, on October 9, the District Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations (Can Tho City Labor Federation) to organize a ceremony to present the Trade Union Shelter to two union members, Dang Xuan Huong (Dinh Mon Kindergarten Union) and Truong Thi Truyen Giang (Thoi Lai District Union of Mass Mobilization, Front and Unions).

It is known that after more than 2 months of construction, the shelters of the 2 members have been completed and put into use. The shelters are built in the style of level 4 houses (corrugated iron roof, walls). Each shelter is supported by the branch of the Golden Heart Charitable Social Fund in Can Tho with 50 million VND.

At the awarding ceremony, representatives of the leaders of the Can Tho City Labor Federation and Thoi Lai district shared their joy and at the same time, wished that the union members would strive to work, complete the assigned targets and enthusiastically participate in activities launched by the Union organization.

On the day of returning to their new home, the family of the two union members expressed their emotions and thanked the local authorities, the unit's Trade Union, the District Labor Federation and the City Labor Federation for their attention and support, helping the family have a new, spacious house, giving them more motivation to work with peace of mind.

Thoi Lai District Labor Federation also informed that it is expected that by the end of October 2024, the District Labor Federation will continue to donate 3 more shelters so that union members can soon return to their new homes.
