On the evening of September 17, the Cai Rang District Labor Federation organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program with the theme "Full Moon Festival Night" in 2024 for children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The program took place in a joyful atmosphere with many interesting and exciting performances and quiz games. At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 48 scholarships to students who are children of union members and district employees with a total amount of 14,400,000 VND.
In addition, 100 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND including moon cakes, lanterns, and milk, were given to disadvantaged children to enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival.
According to the Cai Rang District Labor Federation, 87/98 grassroots unions under the district’s departments, schools and non-state agencies have organized many Mid-Autumn Festival programs with diverse forms. Accordingly, the grassroots unions have given 1,650 gifts, each worth from VND100,000 to VND500,000 to children in the district with a total amount of VND650 million.
Can Tho City Labor Federation informed that for the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024, the city's trade unions at all levels have paid attention to taking care of children, especially children of union members and workers. Accordingly, the units have organized many programs such as lantern making contests, meetings, performances, entertainment, lantern processions, etc. In particular, the trade unions at all levels have presented 38,170,000 gifts with a total amount of VND 5,136,872,000 to children.
