This afternoon, March 18, the Da Nang City Labor Federation (LDF) organized a ceremony to admit union members and establish a grassroots trade union of D.R Vina Co., Ltd., a yarn and paper tube manufacturing enterprise with Korean investment capital, operating in Tam Thang 2 Industrial Park, Ban Thach ward.
At the ceremony, the City Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 74 trade union members, and at the same time appointed the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 5 people.
Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the City Labor Federation leaders requested the grassroots trade union of D.R Vina Co., Ltd. to soon stabilize its organization and promote its role as a bridge between workers and businesses. In which, the trade union needs to actively coordinate with the board of directors to perform well the function of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Along with that, the trade union needs to coordinate with employers to organize emulation movements, contributing to promoting production and business; continue to focus on developing and managing union members, building grassroots trade unions to be increasingly strong.
