On March 6, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) organized a thematic program " Honoring the role of Vietnamese women" for more than 400 female cadres, union members, and workers.
Attending were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and unions of the province.

In recent times, trade unions at all levels in Dong Thap province have implemented many models and creative activities to care for female union members and workers such as: Program "Sign welfare with business units to care for female union members and workers", model "Your health, free health check-ups, consultations and medicine distribution", " Milk storage room at the enterprise", "Collision wedding ceremony among workers".
Most recently, the TV show "Happy Journey" supported female union members and pregnant workers in difficult circumstances to enjoy a full package of services from the time of receipt to the time of giving birth.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - hoped that female cadres, union members, and workers would continuously practice, strive, and study to improve their qualifications in all aspects, continue to promote the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, actively participate and effectively contribute to the development of the homeland of Dong Thap.

At the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Thi Tam - Senior Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education - shared with female staff, union members, and workers the topic " Honoring the role of Vietnamese women".
Thereby, emphasizing the role and importance of Vietnamese women in the family and in society, the reality of gender equality and protecting women in Vietnam through practical, vivid stories in daily life.

On this occasion, female cadres, union members, and workers also watched reports reviewing the tradition of celebrating the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day and the 1985 anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, participating in answering multiple-choice questions with rewarded content revolving around issues of family, gender, and gender equality.
