On August 2nd, An Phu Ward Trade Union (Gia Lai province) announced that it had just organized the 2026 Sports Festival for workers, civil servants, and laborers with the enthusiastic participation of a large number of union members.
The sports festival attracted 160 athletes who are union members and workers from 11 grassroots trade unions directly under the An Phu Ward Trade Union. The program not only creates a playground for health training but also an opportunity for units to exchange, learn, and strengthen solidarity and attachment.
Representatives of the Trade Union of Nafoods Tay Nguyen Joint Stock Company shared: "Every day we mainly work with machinery, books and work pressure. Today participating in relays and tug-of-war events, I feel like I have been given a new source of energy.

In particular, union members of the grassroots Trade Union of Truong Dat Gia Lai F&B Trading and Production Co., Ltd. expressed their emotion when the unit participated in the sports festival for the first time. The company's grassroots Trade Union was newly established in early July 2026, so there was still much confusion.
However, as soon as they received the plan from the Ward Trade Union, the collective of workers actively practiced with a spirit of exchange and learning. The result of winning the first prize overall is a great joy and motivation for the unit.

At the end of the sports festival, the grassroots Trade Union of Truong Dat Gia Lai F&B Trading and Production Co., Ltd. excellently won the first prize overall. The second prize belonged to the grassroots Trade Union of Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital Co., Ltd.
Two third prizes were awarded to the Union of Grassroots Trade Unions of Dak Doa Health Center and People's Credit Fund, and the Grassroots Trade Union of Nafoods Tay Nguyen Joint Stock Company.
According to the Organizing Committee, the success of the sports festival contributes to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among workers, civil servants, and laborers; helping to regenerate labor capacity, improve spiritual life, thereby encouraging workers to improve productivity, work quality, and join hands with businesses and localities to complete socio-economic development goals.
