On October 24, Long My Town Labor Federation held a Conference to review Trade Union activities in the third quarter and summarize School Trade Union activities in the 2023-2024 school year. Attending the conference was Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial Labor Federation Le Cong Khanh.
According to the report, in the third quarter of 2024, the material life and income of union members and teachers will gradually improve, with an average income of 5-19 million VND/person/month, thanks to which workers can work with peace of mind.
Long My Town Labor Federation promptly supported 15 union members in difficult circumstances with a budget of 7.5 million VND; handed over 3 Trade Union Shelters with a total amount of 130 million VND; awarded 208 Golden Heart 2024 scholarships with a total amount of 104 million VND.
Along with that, the town's Labor Federation supported rice and uniforms for workers at Kim Duc Company with an amount of 15 million VND; supported 2,250 notebooks for disadvantaged students at 14 primary schools in the town with a budget of more than 22 million VND.
The total number of works and products that have been recognized and have been given a plaque to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union is 65. Of these, 5 belong to the Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, worth nearly 8.7 billion VND; 15 belong to the Long My Town Federation of Labor, worth over 1.5 billion VND, and 45 belong to the local Trade Union, worth 450 million VND.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the Long My Town Labor Federation also directed grassroots unions to coordinate with professionals to focus on regular training, training to improve management capacity; digital transformation in teaching and management, teaching and learning; support and encourage cadres, teachers, and workers to apply initiatives and experiences into practice.
