The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has just coordinated with the Hung Yen Provincial Labor Federation to organize 2 training courses on environmental protection and occupational safety and hygiene for 240 union officials and staff working on occupational safety and hygiene and hygiene at enterprises in the province.
At the training sessions, delegates were informed about the basic content of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020, current regulations and skills, methods of operation of trade union cadres and occupational safety and hygiene on occupational safety and hygiene; identification, assessment, and control of risks at the workplace.
At the end of the training course, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the trainees to ensure the conditions and requirements of the training conference.
Through the training conference, trainees will better understand policies and laws on environmental protection, occupational safety and hygiene. Thereby raising the awareness of union members about their role and responsibility in environmental protection and occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace.
In addition, trade unions coordinate with enterprises to participate in monitoring and improving working conditions for employees to ensure compliance with the law.
