On September 16, the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor held a launching ceremony to support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.

In recent days, storm No. 3 (Yagi) with very strong intensity has flooded the northern provinces of our country, causing great devastation. After storm No. 3 made landfall, the storm's circulation caused heavy rain over a large area, landslides and caused heavy losses in human lives and property. Especially after the storm, the flood situation is having extremely complicated developments and continues to cause damage, seriously affecting all aspects of social life of the people in the North.

Chairman of the Labor Federation of Kien Giang province Truong Thanh Thuy said that the launching ceremony responded to the call for all people to participate in contributing to support compatriots affected by storms and floods of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province; promoting the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of the Vietnamese people "Love others as you love yourself", "The whole leaf covers the torn leaf".
