Hanoi Social Insurance has just requested that health insurance medical facilities ensure the rights of health insurance participants after being affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi).
Accordingly, Hanoi Social Insurance requested health insurance medical examination and treatment facilities to quickly implement measures to support patients, especially in areas that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 3 and floods.
In particular, medical facilities need to carry out medical examination and treatment to ensure full and timely benefits for health insurance participants when coming for medical examination and treatment. Promptly resolve problems with medical examination and treatment procedures for patients to ensure that all patients receive medical examination and treatment conveniently and quickly, without requiring the applicant to request a referral in case of an emergency.
In case of power outage or no internet connection to update patient data to the system, it will be done directly. Priority is given to medical examination and treatment for people with serious or critical illnesses or accidents or injuries coming from areas affected by storms and floods.
Ensure adequate and timely supply of medicines and medical equipment for health insurance-covered medical examination and treatment (direct purchase, drug transfer, etc.); absolutely do not let patients buy their own medicines and medical equipment covered by the health insurance fund during treatment; promptly transfer patients to higher levels in case the medical examination and treatment facility does not meet professional requirements.
In case of any problems arising related to the settlement of the patient's health insurance regime, the medical facility is requested to inform the assigned appraiser in charge of the medical facility to promptly coordinate the settlement, ensuring the rights of the health insurance patient according to regulations.
