On December 11, Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Tham - Chairwoman of Ham Thang Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong) said that the unit had connected benefactors to support 130 students affected by floods and those from disadvantaged households in the area.

Accordingly, 130 students of Ham Thang 4 Primary School received gifts including notebooks, pens and many school supplies given by benefactors. In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thang ward also supports instant noodles, milk and cakes.
These are students whose homes were deeply flooded, many properties, clothes and books were damaged after the flood in early December. Some of them are from poor families, poor households, near-poor households or children of workers.

The school highly appreciates the accompanying role of the ward union, especially in proactively connecting social resources to care for disadvantaged students. Timely support helps them stabilize their psychology soon and feel secure in studying after natural disasters.
Ham Thang Ward Trade Union said it will continue to mobilize social resources to take care of the well-being of people, especially children and families severely affected by floods.
In addition to supporting school supplies, the union will maintain visiting activities, giving gifts and connecting scholarships to support disadvantaged students.
