On January 31, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just had a working session with the grassroots Trade Union of Samten Hill Da Lat Joint Stock Company (Don Duong commune, Lam Dong province).
According to assessments, the grassroots Trade Union of Samten Hill Da Lat Joint Stock Company has made efforts to accompany the Company's Board of Directors in caring for union members and employees.
Thanks to that, more than 200 workers are guaranteed stable jobs, with salaries of over 10 million VND per month. In addition to ensuring jobs and income, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes for workers are implemented promptly and fully.
Grassroots trade unions also negotiate and sign collective labor agreements with many priority policies such as arranging free dormitories for workers far away; organizing year-end commendation, supporting meals and taking care of social security for workers.
Recently, Mr. Doan Van Su, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, visited, listened to the thoughts and aspirations, and shared the difficulties of union members and workers.
Orienting trade union activities in the coming time, Mr. Doan Van Su proposed that grassroots trade unions focus on building specific programs and plans, ensuring democratic, public, and transparent activities, strengthening solidarity and unity within the unit.
Through this, proactively organize and participate in emulation movements to improve productivity, wages and income for workers.
Mr. Su also requested the Trade Union Executive Committee to closely coordinate with the Board of Directors in implementing grassroots democracy regulations, building harmonious labor relations, creating a friendly working environment, and taking care of improving the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers.
