As of the end of June 2024, the Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) of Đức Trọng district has 60 Inspection Committees, including 1 superior-level Inspection Committee and 59 grassroots-level Inspection Committees. There are 95 officials in charge of inspection work at grassroots Trade Unions.
According to Mr. Nguyễn Thiện Tiến - Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of LĐLĐ Đức Trọng district, in the first 6 months of 2024, the district's LĐLĐ Inspection Committee has helped the Standing Committee build plans and organize inspections on the implementation of the Vietnam Trade Union's charter.
The Trade Union Inspection Committee has inspected the adherence to the charter for the same-level Trade Unions in 52 out of 77 cases. The inspection content includes checking the implementation according to the Charter, the implementation of resolutions at all levels of Trade Unions, and the financial revenue and expenditure of the Trade Union.
Through inspections, it was found that from the district LĐLĐ to the Trade Union, all closely followed the charter, resolutions, and plans set out, effectively implementing the operational regulations of the Executive Committee, the coordination regulations between the Trade Union and the government, and the operational regulations of the superior-level Inspection Committee.
According to the Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of LĐLĐ Đức Trọng district, in the first 6 months of 2024, through inspections, it was found that most Trade Unions in the education sector have strictly followed the regulations on revenue and expenditure, financial management, and assets of the Trade Union.
Besides, some grassroots Trade Unions are still slow in updating revenue and expenditure data. Additionally, some expenditure documents do not meet the regulations, and the allocation of expenditure in some grassroots Trade Unions is not balanced.
Notably, some units have not prioritized rewards to motivate and encourage union members; a few grassroots Trade Unions have not ensured the prescribed rate for allowances for grassroots Trade Union officials.
