On February 9, Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Tham - Chairwoman of Ham Thang Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) said that the unit has completed the handover of 250 gifts "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area.
A special feature of this care campaign is that many gifts are given directly at the construction site, construction camps - where workers are working day and night.

At the camp of Rang Dong Construction Co., Ltd., 48 workers from 3 grassroots trade unions received gifts directly.
Amidst the busyness of construction materials and the sound of machinery, the moment the trade union organization appeared carrying Tet gifts made many workers unable to hide their emotions. For them, this is not only a material gift but also timely care and sharing.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Tham, most workers at the construction sites do heavy work. Some cases even fall into particularly difficult circumstances due to illness and the burden of living expenses.
Therefore, the trade union proactively reviews, makes lists and directly goes to the workplace to give gifts, with the spirit of "no one is left behind".

Among the workers who received gifts, the case of union member Tran Thi Tuyet Nhung (born 1979) made many people feel sad. Ms. Nhung said that her family is in particularly difficult circumstances. She herself is undergoing cancer treatment, her health has declined, and she has to take long days off work, so her income has decreased sharply.
Ms. Nhung's husband does not have a stable job, while his two children are still of school age. "Receiving Tet gifts from the union at this time is really precious. My family has more expenses to prepare for Tet, and the children are also less deprived," Ms. Nhung shared.
Not only stopping at giving gifts, on this occasion, trade union officials also visited and grasped the thoughts and aspirations of workers, encouraging workers to feel secure in treating their illnesses and stabilizing their lives. Simple but sincere inquiries and encouragements have created cohesion, helping workers clearly feel the role of the trade union organization as a support.
According to the Ham Thang Ward Trade Union, in the coming time, the unit will continue to coordinate with businesses and grassroots trade unions to implement more activities to care for the lives of union members, especially workers in difficult circumstances and workers far from home.
The goal is for each worker to celebrate a warmer and more fulfilling Tet, in accordance with the spirit of care and sharing of the trade union organization.
