The event was held at Phan Thiet Garment Export Joint Stock Company, Ham Thang Ward, Lam Dong Province.
Chairwoman of Ham Thang Ward Trade Union - Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Tham said that today's meal is special for workers because it not only has a gathering and warmth but also an occasion to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28).
In particular, this activity of the trade union aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2).

According to Ms. Tham, the meal in today's "Union Meal" is worth 45,000 VND. A good meal not only ensures higher nutrition than a regular shift meal but also has the meaning of reunion and solidarity.
The meal demonstrated the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization and the Company's Board of Directors for the workers. At the same time, it affirms the role of the Trade Union in accompanying businesses in caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
"We aim to improve the quality of shift meals, build long-term welfare and connect workers with trade unions as well as enterprises," Ms. Tham emphasized.
