On the morning of August 5, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to establish the Langfarm Company Limited Trade Union with 159 union members.
The event took place at the company headquarters (Cam Ly ward, Da Lat city, Lam Dong province), with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.
At the program, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to admit 159 employees of Langfarm Company Limited into the Trade Union; announced the decision to establish the company's grassroots Trade Union.
The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consists of 5 members; The Inspection Committee consists of 3 members. Ms. Hoang Ha Phuong was appointed as Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, Mr. Lam Hoang Hung held the position of Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Inspection Committee.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang said that this is the first grassroots trade union established since the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union officially came into operation.
He suggested that grassroots trade unions soon stabilize their organization, develop working regulations, assign specific tasks and implement practical activities.
"Union activities must aim to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, accompanying businesses to build an effective working environment, improve productivity, quality and income for workers," Mr. Hoang emphasized.
Ms. Dinh Thi My Phuong - Chairwoman of Langfarm Company Limited said that the enterprise operates in the fields of agricultural production - processing, restaurant business and tourism services, currently creating stable jobs with an average income of 7.5 - 8 million VND/person/month.
Ms. Phuong affirmed that the establishment of the grassroots Trade Union is an important milestone, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of the company.
The trade union will be an effective bridge between the board of directors and employees, protecting the legitimate rights of employees and spreading the good cultural values of the enterprise, she said.
